More fun.More family.

Marketing plan for SK Football Academy, December to February. Video first, on the grass, and every part of the funnel joined up.

01 From our talk on 3 Nov

What SK asked for. The plan is built on it.

Positioning

A bit more fun, a bit more family

Great coaches stay the backbone. The feed shows the fun and the families around them.

Format

Video first

Instagram, TikTok and YouTube all run on video. Around 90% of the work is reels.

Keep

What already works

Kids talk about the content and it brings in new kids. Coach challenges and silly ideas stay.

Budget

No extra production spend

Phone and camera, shot by me. The in-house graphic designer for static work.

Visible

On the grass, not hidden

The team always knows what is being shot, what is posting and what is next.

Timing

No quiet period

Handover in late November, start the first week of December, straight into Christmas camps.

02 Where SK is today

03 The plan in one view

Four ways parents find SK. One place they book.

A parent usually sees SK four or five times before they look at prices. Social builds that. Search catches the parent who is already looking. Families already at SK bring the next ones.

Already in place

Media buyer, web company, graphic designer, ClassCard. Nothing new to hire.

My job

Make the content, brief each partner, and join every piece up so it all points to one booking.

Positioning

SK: the fun, family football academy, trusted since 2002. Every post shows one part of it.

04 Four steps, in order

Each step feeds the next.

Step 1 · late Nov to early Dec

Handover

  • Work side by side with the current content lead
  • Access to every account
  • Session calendar for every location
  • Note what has worked so far
  • Starting numbers, so we can compare later
Done whenThe first two weeks of December are planned and the team can see them.
Step 2 · December

Show up more

  • 6 to 7 reels a week in the series below
  • Christmas camps covered every day
  • Shot during sessions coaches already run
  • Fresh reels to the media buyer weekly
Done whenFour weeks in a row at 6 to 7 reels, with no quiet week over Christmas.
Step 3 · Dec to Jan

Get found

  • Google profile for every location: photos, hours, reviews
  • Website refresh with the web company
  • Pages that answer what parents ask Google and ChatGPT
  • New-term push in January
Done whenEvery location has a complete Google profile and every page has a book button.
Step 4 · Jan to Feb

Keep families

  • WhatsApp + email flows: welcome, birthday, re-enrol, bring a friend
  • AI chat for prices, times and locations
  • Plan for in-school sign-ups
Done whenFlows send on their own and every enquiry gets an answer within minutes.

Why content first: it already works, and the Christmas camps can't go quiet.

Why search second: the website and Google profiles need fresh photos and video from step 2.

Why families third: the flows use ClassCard data and the messages that worked in steps 2 and 3.

Coach vs Kid

"Can a 7 year old beat Coach on the crossbar?"

Keeps what already works: coaches up for silly challenges.

FunWeekly

SK Skits

"POV: Coach says it's the last drill."

Short funny sketches with the coaches and kids.

FamilyEvery new term

First Day at SK

"Nervous walk in. High fives out."

Shot at kid height on a new player's first session.

FamilyEvery SK party

Birthday at SK

"The birthday kid picks the drill."

Fun for the family, and it shows the party package.

FamilyWeekly

Parent Sideline

"What changed since your kid joined SK?"

One parent, one question, filmed on the sideline.

CoachesWeekly

Meet the Coach

"How long have you been at SK?"

The people story that already did well on the feed.

CoachesTwice a month

Mic'd Up

"A mic on Coach for a whole session."

Kids are funny, coaches sound like pros.

Since 2002Monthly

Big Story

"Meet the academy SK is building in Malawi."

Wolves, SK Champions, SK Malawi: out of the highlights, into the feed.

Every video ends on SK. A trend is only worth it if the last second says who we are.

Only kids with a parent's yes. Filming follows SK's photo consent, with extra care for SK Champions.

Hooks above are examples. The real lines come from real kids, parents and coaches.

07 Timeline

Views only matter inside the SK circle: kids, parents and families nearby. Starting numbers come from the handover, then each month is compared with the one before.

About me

8 years in content and marketing. At Trifid Media in Dubai I made 1,200+ short-form videos and took 20+ brands from zero to 1M-10M organic views. I shoot and edit myself (iPhone, Sony A7S III, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut), and I've built WhatsApp marketing and automation on the Meta Cloud API.

11 What I'm committing to
  • 6 to 7 reels a week from the first week of December
  • No quiet week over the Christmas camps
  • On the grass three days a week
  • Calendar shared two weeks ahead, update every Friday
  • A monthly scoreboard with honest numbers
12 What I'm not promising
  • Viral views. Not the goal. Some videos may get them, the scoreboard ignores them.
  • Search results in weeks. Google and ChatGPT take months to pick up new pages.
  • New spend. No studio or videographer is needed for this plan.
  • Flows before data. Steps 3 and 4 need ClassCard and website access first.
13 What I need from the team

To start on time.

  • Logins: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta Business
  • Google Business Profile access for each location
  • Website + ClassCard access (or a contact at each)
  • Session, camp and term calendar for every location
  • One coach contact per location
  • SK's photo consent process for filming kids
  • An intro to the media buyer, web company and designer
  • Time with the current content lead before December
